The people’s watchman Boniface Mwangi has confirmed that the protests will continue as scheduled despite the many millennials on social media cancelling on mission occupy State House.
As seen on X, Boniface Mwangi urged the youths not to fall for the fake promises issued on 26th June by the State.
He went on to remind the youths not to lose focus as the same govt had children killed in broad daylight without a second thought.
People coming out today is to remove the idea that politicians own us, it’s a demonstration that this moment belongs to us and it’s WE the People who tell the president what to do and not the other way round. The people’s watchman wrote.
For the fallen soldiers
Still on the same, the activist insisted today’s protests would be used to voice the rights of the fallen soldiers who lost their lives over Finance Bill 2024.
Secondly, the state has used fear by killing people on Tuesday and there should be a clear signal that speaking up shouldn’t be this costly. Those who were abducted, maimed and killed would otherwise have done so in vain. Ignore those bringing confusion, and most importantly telling you to Occupy State House. See you at parliament. #OccupyParliament. He wrote.
