Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has warned fellow leaders of the wrath of the Young Generation “Gen Z’s,” who are now making headlines across all social media platforms.
Kalonzo Musyoka urged the Kenyan President to be careful as well and see to it that the demands of the people of Kenya are attended to.
Backing his point, he explained that he had difficulty getting into the KICC because the roads were barricaded, and this is all to keep the Gen Z’s off the premises, which means they are indeed people who cannot afford to be misled or ignored whatsoever.
“Mr. President, I want to urge that we look at our country afresh. There’s no way we can wish away the Gen Z revolution, and if we were to begin, to be honest with ourselves, we’d need to go back to the Bomas.” Kalonzo said.
He goes on once more to remind all leaders to lead in a right manner, lest they fall into the wrath of the Gen Z’s who are calling out incompetent, corrupt leaders.
The current generation has indeed developed a keen interest in political affairs and cannot be misled in any way.
“If we are not careful, all of us will get thrown out by the Gen Z’s because they say we have come of age. You say that we are leaders of tomorrow; we are leaders now; we can’t push them away.” Kalonzo said.
Why the Gen Z’s are making headlines
This is simply because of what they have managed to achieve, they have gone to the history books within a short period of time compared to other fighters who were there before them.
Below are sone of the reasons why the Gen Z’s are kind of feared and have been applauded by many:
- They are United
- They are fearless, tribeless and leaderless
- They became the first people to enter Parliament buildings
- They made the Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto withdraw the 2024 Finance Bill
- They were able to call out incompetent leaders who voted ‘Yes’ on the 2024 Finance Bill forcing others to even apologize publicly.
- They trended across all social media platforms for over 2 weeks plus counting.
- The Kenyan President decided to engage with them on Twitter (X) to try see on how they can make the country a better place to live for everyone.
- The President recently made certain changes in his Government, something that has never been seen before.
