Ian Njoroge has been making news following a virial clip he is seen attacking a traffic officer in broad daylight – something many never thought they would witness or even dare do.
However the 19 year old shocked many with his fearless character that later landed him in police custody then later in court where he is facing three counts of traffic offences.
So far he has been charged with robbing Corporal Jacob Ogendo, of a police communication gadget, a mobile phone valued at Sh50,000 and for unlawfully beating up the officer, leaving him in serious condition.
Having been ordered to remain behind custody as the court decides on whether to release him on bail or bond, the court also ordered the young man to be taken to Kenyatta hospital for treatment following an alleged broken jaw he suffered.

This comes after his lawyer revealed their client had been attacked and tortured by prison wardens rooting against him.
According to reports, Ian Njoroge who is a university student was to be accompanied by a parent, his advocate and a probation officer for an assessment report.
His fate is however due on 7th June 2024 when the court will determine the bail application.
