Ian finally out
Well barely a week since the court set Ksh 700k bond, Ian Njoroge was finally released on 13th June 2021 after Sonko’s aide, Francis Wambua secured his release after standing in as surety for him.
His release also comes after Milimani principal magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi set Njoroge’s bail after dismissing the application by the prosecution that it was for his safety.
“The allegations that Ian Njoroge should not be released on bail and or bond because he is a flight risk is plausible since it is not supported by any evidence.” the magistrate said.
