“I think Jomo was Unfairly Targeted” ~ Mwai Kibaki’s Grandson Shares His Opinion on Uhuru Kenyatta’s Raid

Mwai Kibaki’s Grandson Sean has shared his perception as per the raid that happened at Uhuru’s family.

Speaking during the launch of Vesha’s business at Prominade, he said that Jomo was unfairly targeted, refusing to pick sides and opting that the two parties should talk it out as they should lead by example.

“Jomo is someone I know personally, and I think he was unfairly targeted, but I think Jomo is innocent, and so is Mama Ngina; they should not have targeted anyone unrelated to what their disagreements are.

And I think these are grown men. They should talk it out.”

Adding that they shouldn’t involve the public and other innocent people in their disagreements as this will just disturb the peace that was created by their forefathers and those who fought for independence, let alone shedding the blood of the innocents through these weekly protests,

He urged both parties to hold a dialogue and talk through their issues to prevent a massacre.

He also shared his disinterest in not wanting to join politics, as it is a dirty game.

What Sean is talking about is what has been trending since the former President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, summoned the media, telling them that he had received a call from his family saying they had been approached by people who were identifying themselves as police officers with Sudanese number plates and demanding to talk with Uhuru’s son. The former president dared the Kenya Kwanza Government, telling them to come for him if he was the one they were interested in and leave his family alone.
