Kenyan comedian Nick Bigfish is mourning the demise of his father, who passed away today while in hospital.

Nick Bigfish is regretting the fact that he initially promised his ailing father that he would take him back home soon, but it turns out that didn’t happen as his father passed away just next to them.

“Mzee amesema itakua vizuri akitutangulia. I promised to take you back home walking, but I’ll take you back in a box. I failed you. POLE. Rest easy,” Nick BigFish’s statement read.

His father was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with a cancerous tumor.

The news has shocked many, leaving his fellow celebrities to come in and share their condolences and encourage him during these tough times that have befallen him.

The known comedian Nick shared the news on his page, letting the public know that his father wasn’t feeling well and was admitted to the hospital receiving treatment, and urging well-wishers to support where they can in clearing the medical bill.

“Thank you everyone for the prayers and the kind words, Mzee is scheduled for an emergency surgery, and the hospital bill is a bit too heavy on me” Nick BigFish shared back then.
