Speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, the Portguese player said that he doesn’t see himself ever as a coach should he retire from football.

The reason why Cristiano feels so is because he says the young generation is so hardheaded when it comes to taking and following instructions to the letter.

“For me, it will be difficult one day to be a coach because I don’t have passions for this generation. It’s difficult, especially in football, because they don’t take advice from our experience.

He goes on saying that he is really struggling to understand the young generation because their priorities lie elsewhere, and instead of them listening to their superiors, they’d stay glued to their devices, believing that it is all they need to idolize more than anything.

They think they know everything; they think the phones will give you a good education. TikTok, Instagram.” Ronaldo shared.

He also added that he has got other important matters that need his attention, like, for instance, opening a new YouTube channel recently, and he will need to invest more time in creating content for his million subscribers.

“I have other things to worry about—another chapter of my life that is a business part that I’m excited about.“ It will be a challenge for me to learn other areas.” Ronaldo said:

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is not just an iconic footballer but also a role model to many players who are looking up to him has become the topic of discussion, not just with what he has done recently but the huge support and love he is getting from fans nationwide.

Why Ronaldo has not hanged his boots yet

Cristiano Ronaldo (39) is determined to keep playing until he has reached the figure of 1,000 career goals. He feels like he can do it within the next few years he currently stands at 900 career goals and is determined to clock a 1,000.

“I want to reach 1,000 goals. If I don’t have any injuries, this for me is the most important thing. I want that.” Ronaldo revealed.
