Peter Salasya, known for his vibrant public persona, recently declared his affection for Huddah Monroe, referring to her as “the Queen” and the “rhythm to my blues.” In his poetic message, Salasya detailed plans to welcome her with the best isukuti dancers from Mumias East, which he had already arranged, only to humorously note that Huddah had declined the services.

Salasya also promised to fulfill any requests Huddah might have, including purchasing items such as orange roses and crisp bottles of Dom Perignon. His message was laced with playful references to shared tastes and his eagerness to make her feel like royalty. “It’s my duty to make her feel like the queen she is. I can’t wait to hang @just counting down days!” he wrote.

Huddah Monroe’s Witty Response

In her response, Huddah Monroe made it clear that while she appreciates the affection, she remains grounded and realistic about the situation. She shared a playful yet poignant comment, stating, “Mistari bila pesa ni shairi,” which translates to “Poems without money are just poetry.” This remark underscores her belief that while poetic gestures are charming, they are not the sole measure of genuine interest.

Huddah’s response highlights her approach to handling romantic advances with a blend of humor and practicality. Furthermore, by addressing Salasya’s gestures with wit, she emphasizes the importance of authenticity in relationships beyond grand romantic gestures.
