Speaking to the press, Jakes said that his decision to marry someone from another country was shaped by his past relationships with local women, which had consistently ended in heartbreak.
“Wasichana wa Kenya nimewa sample here and there si kwa ubaya ile tuh kwa uzuri nimeona vumbi, to be honest.” Jakes said:
In seeking a fresh start, Jakes was drawn to the idea of finding love beyond his borders, hoping that a relationship with someone from a different cultural background would offer a new perspective and the emotional fulfillment he had long desired but couldn’t find at home.
Still on the same note, Jake advised the public, particularly men, to always go for women whom they see a future with and not the ones clinging to them because they have a few coins to spare.
Jake’s Profound love for his mother
He acknowledged his mother, thanking her for always supporting his relationship, saying she is the reason why he even ended up going all the way to Tanzania to meet the parents of his girlfriend, describing the moment as ‘Charity starts at home.’
He also hinted that he might consider marrying soon, but for now he is chasing the bag.

Jake’s career Journey
Nyanjom, who is barely 20 years old graduated from the Daystar University with a Bachelors degree in Mass Media & Communication and is currently working at Homeboyz Radio.
He was recently announced the new member of Homeboyz radio shortly after Martin announced his exit after serving for 9 years.
Through an interview session we had with him a while back, Jake opened up, saying his decision to join the entertainment industry was largely inspired by his mother, Joyce Gituro, who was a radio presenter at Citizen Radio.
“Way back when I was young, I used to tell my mom, who used to go to the Sunday show, to wake me up so that we could go together.
I’ve really been very passionate about entertainment at large. I learned a lot,” he added.
Apart from that, the Daystar University student is popular on social media for his skits with his mother, Gituro whom he dearly loves.
Jake’s success is a clear definition that nothing is impossible as long as you have passion in what you are doing someday you will reap the fruits of your hard work.
