A Tanzanian member of parliament has shared his opinion on the limitations on data bundle usage.
Speaking in a parliamentary proceeding, he said that it is very wrong that an individual buys bundles with their own money, and they are limited in the period of time that they are to be used.
He bitterly expressed his disappointment with the act, saying that everything is done for a reason and theft should be stopped by all means. He said that it is unfair for one to work so hard to get money, and they are still limited on how to spend it.
He even suggested that the Speaker should bring the law to court if at all possible so that they can change it because, for him, this sounds unfair and inappropriate.
His argument revolved around the fact that one buys bundles that can allow you to access the internet, which then end up expiring within a period of 7 days, and probably the data hasn’t been used at all.
