Here is Why Mungai Eve Opened a New YouTube Channel (Details)

Published on

Kenyan YouTuber Mungai Eve has opened her own YouTube channel days after Director Trevor, who was not just her director but also boyfriend, fired her from the initial channel they had.

The content creator took to her Instagram page to announce to her fans and followers about her new journey, urging them to subscribe.

“The beginning of a new era! Link in my bio to my channel,” she wrote.

She did also decide to start the new channel because of the public pressure that was getting to her, and she also thought of taking things on a different level as per what she shared.

“Get ready for a start and a whole lot of inspiration, empowering messages, and a positive impact on your world. At Mungai Eve, we’ve always strived to share captivating stories that resonate with your soul. Now with a brand-new look and feel, we are taking things a step further.”

Mungai Eve, who has already had an interview on her new channel with US-based Kenyan content creator Andrew Kibe, captioned the snippet on her page, saying that she is embarking on a journey and starting over.

This news was taken differently by many, as there were congratulatory messages from other bloggers and close friends. Mungai Eve’s ex-boyfriend director Trevor’s rebranded new channel, which was renamed ‘Kenya Online Media’ from Mungai Eve, did also partake in congratulating Mungai Eve on her new journey, a message that read that they are happy for her new move and wish her all the best. “From Kenya Online Media (KOM), we wish Mungai Eve all the best in her new journey.”

Last week, Director Trevor disclosed that his relationship with Eve Mungai ended a year ago, contrary to the public display of a blissful romance.

Her ex-boyfriend Trevor was doing a question and answer on his page when a fan asked if he would be working with Mungai Eve, and he responded by saying no.

“No, her services are no longer needed on the following platforms: YouTube (754K subscribers), Instagram Fame (104K subscribers), and Facebook (874K followers).”

Mungai Eve on the other hand decided to keep quiet about it and despite the online pressure she said that some things are better left unsaid or rather better unaddressed.

Since she opened the YouTube channel that fellow content creators and other celebrities have helped her push by informing the public she has managed to get over 50,000 subscribers and has extended a hand of appreciation to the public and fans urging them to keep supporting her and referring the channel to others so that they can hit 100,000 subs in quick succession.

“Hoping y’all had an amazing weekend….Grateful for the love and support! 50k subs in 48 hours. Lets keep soaring together and aim for that 100k milestone. “Mungai Eve’s statement read:
