Henry Desagu explains why He Decided to take a break from Content Creation

Published on

Mwihoko Prince and digital content creator Henry Desagu has opened up about why he decided to take a break from content creation, especially on all his social media handles.

Desagu said that he decided to sit back and watch because he considers himself a top content creator, so he thought of relaxing, watching how things were going, and trying to rebrand to fit in with the new way of creating content.

Ukiwa top kwanza unarelax hata. That is, after 6 years, sometimes you take a break, go and refresh your ideas, and pia umeona vile industry evolves. That’s when TikTok imetokea everyone is doing content si pia wewe lazima ujirebrand upya,” Desagu explained.

He emphasized the importance of self-care and how taking this break is a necessary step for him to recharge and reconnect with his passion for comedy because the whole point of content creation is to make money, and if he can do that by resetting first, then so be it.

Ukishafanya kitu for 6 years or long at times, unasitingi down unajiita mkutano uone kama, the strategies you’ve been using are working, and what else can I do, because at the end of the day, the whole purpose of making content is to make money through monetizing content?” Desagu explained.

What Desagu has been Working on

Despite stepping away from regular content creation, Desagu reassured his fans that this is not a permanent farewell. Adding to that, he has also been working with other brands that also need his undivided attention, which is why he has not been working on his own content more lately.

Pia kuna projects zingine…unajua ukiwork na msanii kuna vitu zingine unaintroduciwa you work with, Nimekua nikiwork na NGO, Save a Life na NGO inaitwa partners…pia tunapelekanga wheelchair…nafanyanga Digital marketing and consultancy. I can’t also be doing the same thing I have been doing..pia, I also need to think content. Yangu kama desagu inaeza reach wasee wengi si kiswahili peke yake.”

In a world where the pressure to maintain a constant online presence can be overwhelming, Desagu’s decision serves as a reminder of the importance of self-care and the need to take breaks when necessary. His honesty and openness about his struggles are likely to resonate with many who face similar challenges in their own lives.
