Kenyan dancehall artist KRG the Don has dismissed Mr. Beast’s good intentions for building more than 50 wells in the country, saying he was a man on a mission to better himself.
Speaking in an interview, KRG the Don said that Mr. Beast shouldn’t be applauded because his intentions aren’t clear.
“He came to shoot his content… He came to do a project that he thinks will get a lot of sympathy and votes.
Alikuja kutengengeneza project ya kutoboa maji ili ashoot ccontent auzie wazungu wenye hawajui afrika inakaa aje that’s why anafany vitu ya kipumbavu kama hivyo.” KRG said.
The dancehall artist said that the YouTuber could have focused on other serious issues that are affecting Kenyans. “Kenya kuna shida mingi kama ukosefu wa ajira kuna vitu anaeza fanya za kuchange maisha, but drilling holes is not one of them… Indian Ocean imejaa maji huko.”
KRG went on to share his frustration on YouTube by adding that he wasn’t right and that, as far as Kenya might be having challenges, water is not one of them, and if he indeed wanted to help the country, then he should have focused on other sensitive, serious matters than drilling boreholes.
KRG said he isn’t hating; he is just being real with facts. He shared a message with Mr. Beast by telling him to focus on creating his own content and not concentrating on drilling boreholes for Kenyans.
