The mother of Bradley Marongo, the towering Kenyan social media sensation, has opened up about a rift in their relationship.

In an interview with Murende TV, Monica Marongo revealed that her son had been avoiding her contact.

“Even if I call him right now, he won’t pick up,” she said. “It’s not easy for him to call me. When I called him on Monday, we had an exchange, and he didn’t want me to talk for long. He said his management was bad and didn’t want him to give me anything or talk to me.”

Monica claimed that Marongo, who has gained international attention for his exceptional height of 8.7 feet, had forgotten about his family. She revealed that he had found a new partner in Nairobi and urged the woman to remind her son of his responsibilities.

“The management has never called me,” she added. “He has found another girl in Nairobi. She is the one receiving calls. He doesn’t even remember his wife. He doesn’t know her. He has a wife and a kid. I don’t know where she is. I can’t find her on the phone. That girl should know that I, as Bradley’s mum, I’m still alive, and she should remind him to take care of me. I should eat and find somewhere to live.”

Marongo’s unique physical features have skyrocketed his popularity on social media, leading to numerous endorsement deals. However, his mother’s revelations shed light on the personal challenges that often accompany such fame.
