Ghanaian Mp urges fellow Mps to pass good laws to avoid facing the wrath Kenyan Mps are going through

A Ghanaian Member of Parliament has advised his fellow members of Parliament in their parliamentary proceedings to ensure they learn from Kenyan MPs.

He advised the members of Parliament to engage with Kenyan MPs and their speaker to advise them on how to pass good bills to avoid angering their netizens into coming for them.

Mr. Speaker, I thought for what we have seen in CNN and everything, you will have taken the opportunity to brief the house on what we saw in Kenya.

Where the Kenyan public is beating up members of parliament for passing bad laws, you should’ve taken advantage to advise us on how to pass good laws to avoid being beaten by the public
.” He said.

He concludes by urging the speaker to ensure that he advises them on doing the right thing so that they don’t face the wrath of the public just as Kenyans did.

Kenyans the other day were marching on the streets rejecting the 2024 Finance Bill which was ignored by many Members of Parliament who voted yes making them march into parliament the next day they were protesting chasing them down for betraying them despite having been advised before to vote No.
