Nga’nga’s moment of epiphany
One pivotal moment occurred during a sermon in Nyahururu. Inspired by a fellow preacher speaking in tongues, Ng’ang’a began speaking in an unknown language himself, a move he initially attributed to peer pressure.
“I prayed for people, including a white person,” he recalled with amusement. “People started falling down. I didn’t want to seem foolish, so I started speaking in tongues too!”
This seemingly accidental act led to a powerful realization. As Ng’ang’a moved through the crowd, people fell when he touched them. He hadn’t witnessed televangelists like Benny Hinn, yet possessed a unique gift.
His preaching partner, recognizing the anointing, encouraged Ng’ang’a to lay hands on people and declare “release.” The result? Everyone fell.
Ng’ang’a also revealed a chilling encounter with the devil, who threatened him for leading people to salvation. Fearful, he considered abandoning his newfound purpose.
Thankfully, an encouraging voice urged him to continue. When those he touched rose unharmed, the fear subsided. This marked a turning point for Ng’ang’a, who then closed the meeting.
This glimpse into Pastor Ng’ang’a’s life offers a deeper understanding of the man behind the microphone.
