There is something unique that comes with aging. You either become smarter in life….or for some, you lose focus in life completely.
I feel like 30’s is where a person starts to set the foundation of their adult life and this is why Kush Tracey had no option but to change her life for the better.
For those who are not aware, Kush Tracey began her music career as a secular artist – dropping bangers after bangers…..and from what she says, the celebrity life is what she had always wanted.
With radios and TVs airing her music, fame got into her head at a young age corrupting her from reality at a time nobody could tell right from wrong.
Netizens reacts to singer Vivian claiming Christianity is cult
This is how she ended up battling substance addiction including addiction to smoking – that is cigars to cigarettes and above all, Marijuana which she says turned her to a chimney.
I used to smoke two packs of cigarettes everyday. Kush Tracey is heard confessing.
I had a boyfriend at 19 years and he is the one who gave me my first cigarette. She went on.
According to her, she kept up with the same habit for years until 2019 when she finally had enough of living a lie.
Kush Tracey says her salvation came gradually as she opened up herself to reading the Bible from Matthew and by the time she got to the book of Revelation – her life had totally changed.
I hard hit the rock bottom, people would see me on TV and on social media but behind that I was battling different emotions. I felt there was more to life and to my existence apart from releasing music and being known. If I died today what would people say about me? I needed to find more and to live in purpose and I could only find that in Christ. Adding;
Being a Christian is so hard, you have to be intentional with everyone. You can’t act the way you want, Being a Christian is the biggest sacrifice I have hard to make in my life. She said.
Kush Tracey is now invested in ministry works as she moves from one school to another looking to inspire the youths with her life experiences.
