Former President of Kenya Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta has urged the Kenya Kwanza Government to go easy on members who are not part of them and do away with instilling violence and fear amongst the public.
Speaking to the press earlier today at Jubilee House, President Kenyatta said that those who want to leave the jubilee party are at liberty to leave as nobody is stopping them from doing so.
This comes after there were reports that some of the members who didn’t want to join Kenya Kwanza Government were being harassed so that they might reconsider ditching their own.
The President told off the policemen while speaking to his fellow party members that they should concentrate on maintaining peace rather than causing havoc and tension all over the place.
“Na mimi nawauliza maafisa wetu wa polisi jameni fuateni haki.”
According to the footage shared online by the media channels, Uhuru together with the people were telling off the policemen to lave and keep peace. The Policemen had gone to the headquarters to disrupt peace wanting people who were within the building to leave the premises.
The former President stood with the people and said that he was only doing what’s right and standing with the people and keeping peace.
