This is the pressure of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries, which carry blood from the heart to other parts of your body.
1. Olive Oil.
This will help as it is rich in polyphenols, it acts positively on hypertension.
Hypertension is a serious health condition where blood pressure is too high which has severe consequences of heart disease, stroke and kidney failure. Using a little Olive oil will help reduce the condition.
2. Dairy Products.
Consider taking low fat products such as milk yogurt, which will in turn increase the amount of calcium and vitamin D in the body.
Taking such dairy products will help reduce pressure up to 10%.
3. Chocolate.
Taking chocolates in moderate amounts, especially the dark chocolates, has proven to work due to its high levels of content of polyphenols that help stimulate blood vessel dilation.
Taking chocolate or cocoa reduces blood pressure up to 8%.
4. Beetroot Juice
They are very rich in nitrates that contribute to vasodilation and consequently relieve blood pressure.
This compound relaxes and widens the blood vessels that in turn lower the blood pressure, so it’s always advisable to take a 250ml glass of beetroot juice on a daily basis, it may look or taste gross, but the results are just superb.
5. Fish
Consider taking white meat at all costs, especially sardines, tuna and herring that are rich in omega 3.
They also help reduce the risk of getting cardiovascular disease.
