Kenyan content creator Flaqo Raz has shared the reason behind his preference for character ‘Bakari‘ over the rest of the other four characters.
Flaqo said that he prefers playing ‘Bakari the Uncle’ more because it brings out the other version of him that he cannot be able to do in real life; in other words, it makes him be himself for a while, and as much as that is the case, the Uncle Bakari Character also represents or talks about the deadbeat crazy uncles that each family has and is entertaining at the same time because of the pulls the character pulls off.
“Bakari is a crazy guy. Ni yule chizi wa mtaa. Bakari is a lot of our uncles. Wale wenye wanalewanga. Wanalewa na hawajielewi. That’s why I love playing the character because it unleashes the crazy sides of myself that I can’t do as Flaqo,” Flaqo explained.
That is actually the reason that made Flaqo decide that he will be creating a new series featuring the character he plays as ‘Uncle Bakari. “Bakari Show season one is coming soon, and more interesting stuff will follow.”
He goes on to say that he decided to play that ‘Bakari character because he has a lot of uncles who are drunk, hence the reason he decided to introduce that new character that talks about his drunk uncles that are so crazy and fun at the same time.
Flaqo plays five roles, including those of Mama Otis, Baba Otis, Akoth, and Uncle Bakari.
