Kenyan Comedian Eric Omondi was arrested yesterday when he was pushing a handcart full of CVs to the State House.
He has promised the public that he will not rest and assured the government that he will keep shouting until his voice is heard.
Asked how he had been able to get the CVs, He responded saying that he had requested people to send their CVs per his WhatsApp number so that he can print them.
“Nika realize ya kwamba hizo Cv ni mingi sana…watu walituma cvs mingi….so nikapeana number ya whatsapp wakatuma hapo.”
He vowed to print them all and take them to statehouse alone so that he doesn’t jeopardize anybody’s life.
He chose to use the handcart as a symbol of what he said is the current lifestyle of Kenyans that he generalized that revolves around Poverty, school fees and unemployment.
Furthermore, he then urged the Government to listen to the voice of the residents, saying that the earlier, the better. And dismissed claims from the economic adviser who was saying that the country will be at a stand still.
“We will not the conversation… it’s about Unga…it’s about economic slavery… It’s about hunger… It’s about school fees……it’s about unemployment…they want to change the narrative…it will not change as long as Eric Omondi is alive.”
Eric has again promised that he will not rest until the message is delivered, looking forward to again march to the state house, considering the fact that the president of Kenya wasn’t in country yesterday.
