Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has set a hefty price tag for a potential collaboration with Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz. The self-proclaimed “King of Africa” insists on a Sh20 million fee before agreeing to any joint project.
The demand comes after Diamond reportedly reached out to Stevo on Instagram expressing interest in a collaboration. However, Stevo has made it clear that business comes before pleasure, and a substantial financial incentive is non-negotiable.

While Stevo may seem ambitious, his demand is not without precedent. Diamond himself has a history of big-budget collaborations. His tracks with Ne-Yo and Rick Ross cost millions of shillings, and the recent “Komasava” remix featuring Jason Derulo reportedly had a budget exceeding Sh24 million.
The question now is whether Diamond will be willing to meet Stevo’s price or if this high-profile collaboration will remain just a dream.

Stevo’s worth is definitely lower than Diamond Platnumz’s by far. But fans believe in his ability to give him a run for his money.
