Fans of the annual Sol Fest by the boy band Sauti Sol and Sol Generation are now counting days to the much-anticipated concert promising the attendees, “something bigger, better and nothing short of dope.”
The event will be going down on December 17, 2022 at Fox Drive – Inn on Thika Road and the line up whom they are referring to as ‘Solfest Class of 2022’ includes Nairobi’s drill rappers Buruklyn Boyz, multiple award-winning musician Octopizzo, multitalented group Matata (who recently released their debut album super morio), singer-rapper Fena Gitu, and songstress Nadia Mukami.
As if that wasn’t quite the line-up they recently announced that Tanzanian bongo musician Harmonize will be on the line up too and Harmonize confirmed it through a short video posted, “Niaje watu wangu wa 254 Kenya huyu ni Konde Boy kutoka Konde Music Worldwide na ninawadhibitishia kuwa nitakuwepo katika tamasha la Sol Fest mnamo Desemba 17. Ambia wenzako hili si la kukosa,” he said
As early as beginning of this month the early bird tickets were already sold out. The ticket sale is still ongoing with very limited tickets remaining. In December 2021 during the previous concert, Sol Generation Records made history as the inaugural live gig sold out over 5,000 tickets four days to the D-Day.
