Family of President Moi appeal financial help for 14 year old grandson

As the family of President Daniel Arap Moi marked his 4th anniversary since passing on, his grandson Gift Kalya Moi on the other hand is said to be seeking medical financial help.

Gift who is said to be the son of the late Jonathan Toroitich Moi – JT and Faith Milkah Moi is reported to be battling cyst infection on his upper jaw.

According to a post shared on social, page Kalenjin culture, the 14 year old has allegedly been in and out of hospital for the past two years since he caught the infection.

His mother revealed that doctor’s have been running tests on his son and since his last surgery, the affected area has developed 4 more cysts leaving the young man in pain and distress.

Although having been scheduled for surgery in January 2024, the teenager was forced to stay home citing financial issues as the procedure costs Ksh 2.5Million.

Apart from just medical financial help, the mother of the 14 year old has requested for emotional support and prayers hoping her son will get through this.
