Esther Musila, wife of gospel singer Guardian Angel, recently opened up about her experiences with marriage on their joint podcast. She shared how her current marriage offers a stark contrast to her younger years.
“Being called a wife – it feels different this time,” Musila confessed. She credits Guardian Angel with making her truly appreciate the title, something she didn’t experience in her first marriage due to her young age.
“Maybe because I married young, I never had the chance to enjoy being a wife,” Musila explained. “It was more about raising children – everything else came first. Now, I finally feel like a wife, and I love it. Congratulations to you for making that happen!”

Guardian Angel echoed these sentiments, attributing his own personal growth to their marriage. “Marriage has definitely matured me,” he said. “It’s taught me responsibility and discipline. Before, I could do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Now, I have someone to consider.”
He continued,
“Looking back, I had talent and made good music, but there were things missing in my life. I wasn’t fully responsible, and I didn’t have someone special to share it with. Marriage has provided that sense of responsibility and growth.”
Both Esther and Guardian Angel acknowledge the positive impact their marriage has had on their lives. Esther feels cherished and enjoys the experience of being a wife, while Guardian Angel highlights the personal development he’s gained through responsibility and commitment.
