Kenyan Comedian Eric Omondi has come to the rescue of Joyce Naserian who was arrested and jailed for shouting in Nairobi Central Business District.
Joyce Naserian was sentenced to three months because she could not be able to post bail of 10,000 ksh.
Earlier today, Eric Omondi posted a video that saw Joyce walking out of prison a free lady as she thanked Eric for coming through.
“We have released Joyce Naserian from Lang’ata Women Prison. She was to spend 3 months in prison for a petty offense with a fine of only Ksh 10,000 she can now go back to her children.”
On a video shared online, she said that she was unemployed, and she was just doing her best trying to make ends meet.
Eric Omondi stepped in after seeing this story and promised netizens that he will do everything in his power to set her free by urging the public to provide him with information that can help him get to her.
“We will be visiting Lang’ata prison to help this sister out. So far, a lot of people have come out to offer her help.”
She lastly requested the public to help her get employment having disclosed she is a single mother trying to make a living. She also urged the Nairobi Governor to tell the policemen to go slow on youths who are trying hard out here to make a living.
