Eric Omondi had been held yesterday because of protesting and has been denied to cash bail.
KRG The Don was speaking on a Press interview last night when he had gone to pay bail for Eric and failed to get him out because he was denied cash bail, the reason being that they say that it’s an unlawful offense that Eric had committed because he never gave the heads-up when he went to demonstrate. This when Eric backed himself up saying that he was unable to buy a pen, paper and transport to go to the police headquarters to notify them and that shows that he had every right to do what he did. They were advised together with other artists and the supportive team to show up the next day, which is today.
Furthermore, they also called upon the Government to be tolerant of the netizens who are not able to meet their needs, backing Eric Omondi’s motion and protests.
Eric Omondi then was forced to spend the night inside the premises, something he has never done before, this being his first.
He updated his fans through his Instagram page,
“Its darkest before DAWN. Today we spend the night on the floor in the Dark but tomorrow the sun will rise.”
Eric will be at Milimani Courts today, where the court will decide his fate.
He also had a moment with Vincent Mboya where he shared some few words, saying that he will not rest until the citizens are attended to.
