Kenyan political activist Eric Omondi has been arrested once again after staging demonstrations against the Finance Bill outside parliament.

Eric Omondi posted a video on his page where he was seen protesting out loud alongside other mama mbogas because of the increase in taxes.

“We WILL NOT ALLOW this Government to KILL and SUFFOCATE Kenyans with the FINANCE ACT 2024!!! Kenyans are suffering and dying in hospitals while they tax us to buy cars, houses, and expensive travels abroad.” Eric Omondi wrote on his page.

Peter Salasya, however, shared his disappointment with Eric Omondi’s decision to protest, calling out members of parliament as incompetent and full of lies, reminding him that it was unwise of him and he would have instead consulted before staging protests.

“@ericomondi, inquire before you act. What you have done at the parliament was wrong for calling members of parliament wasaliti wa wrong. Toa vipindi kwa siasa hizi vipindi tunazijua. Ikifika kwa vipindi za siasa uliza.” Peter Salasya wrote on his page.

This actually not the first time Eric Omondi is staging a protest criticising the Kenya Kwanza Government he is currently being detained and should we get more information we will let you know.
