Instagram Sensation, comedian, author, and star Elsa Majimbo signed with IMG models and WME which are super modeling agencies based in Holywood.

“Joining IMG Models and WME makes sense because it’s only natural for icons to work together,” said Majimbo.

Elsa Majimbo who rose to fame during the global covid 19 pandemic is known for her famous funny home-based quarantine videos and doing comic monologues on common African and Global attitudes and misconceptions.

Majimbo signed with IMG models which is a Hollywood modeling agency known for working with style-setting celebrities, renowned fashion publications, and supermodels.

The sign-up will uplift Majimbo’s portfolio as IMG models will enable her work through global editorial coverage of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle endorsements.

Majimbo grew up in Nairobi and was a Journalism student at Strathmore University who later dropped off after her fame.

“When I went viral, the first thing I did was send an email and quit, it was absolutely delusional but I believed I could succeed, I was like, “You know what? I’m going to be a superstar.”

The 15-time Chess champion is set to debut her documentary directed by Julia Jansch at Tribeca Film Festival among that, she was recently signed in by Rihanna’s Fenty where she showcases the brand’s glasses in every shade.

The Social media star became among the 4 Kenyans who have been featured in Forbes Africa in the top 30 under 30 individuals in the continent.

“Growing up, I always knew I would be Iconic, I didn’t know how I would do it but I knew it would be done,” said Majimbo during the Forbes event.
