Kenyan scriptwriter and standup comedian Eddie Butita has finally shared the reason that made him quit the Churchill show.
Speaking in the Mic Cheque podcast, Eddie Butita opened up, saying that he decided to take a bow working for Churchill because his efforts were awarded late. The fact that his efforts in the entertainment industry weren’t recognized in a timely manner led to frustration and ultimately his decision to leave that line of work.
“Waliandika new contracts wakanifanyia interview wakaniambia..tumerealize unawork sana..from now on, unalipwa separate tunapangia contract mpya ya creatives.
Monday nikapigwa kandarasi yangu safi nikafika home nikachukua simu nikasema leo ndio siku na resign..imewachukua long hivi kujua mimi ni important..wacha ikae,” Eddie Butita explained.

Recognition and acknowledgment of one’s contributions are important factors in job satisfaction and motivation.
The ‘Nurse Toto Series‘ founder adamantly said he was never going to take the new contract he had been handed, and inasmuch as he said it was good money, he felt like he had been looked down upon the entire time and made peace with the fact that he was playing a bigger role in the entertainment industry, which is why he decided to stop working at Churchill Show.
Ever since Eddie Butita went on ahead to start his own online media company, SPMBUZZ, and has been writing scripts for shows and his own newly launched YouTube series by the name of ‘A Nurse Toto‘ that is now the talk of town.
