SPM Buzz CEO and comedian Eddie Butita is topping the charts after his huge milestone, accompanying president Ruto to the US for his 3-day tour.

Taking to his socials, the jester showed appreciation to the President as he expressed his exuberance on the approval.

“Leaving for USA today. Thank you His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto for chosing me to accompany you to the United States of America State Visit hosted by the USA President His Excellency President Joe Biden,” Butita wrote.

He continued to tease his mission to improve the creative industry following his trip.

“The fact that I’m part of the Head of states delegation is a clear sign and we are happy that the creative industry is part of the conversations we are going to have during this trip.” Butita wrote.

President Ruto is set to visit Tyler Perry’s Sh33 billion studio in Atlanta where he will be joined by other renowned Hollywood stars.

Butita-Ruto relationship

This is not the first time the CEO is meeting up with the president. He was among the creatives that were hailed by the president for being consistent and being able to monetize their content, in tandem with his fellow jester Njugush.

Speaking during the Kenya National Drama Festival State Concert at State House, the Head of State said the two had set the bar in making a living from monetising their content.

“Njugush and Butita are great artists who today are monetising their content. Pongezi sana…those two young men are making more money than my salary,” Ruto said as the audience marvelled.

Butita’s tour is an epitome of how hardwork attracts recognition, leading to soaring greater heights!
