Dr Ofweneke narrates his experience as an MC at an ex girlfriend’s wedding

Every hustle has it’s challenges, right? But imagine having to MC your ex’s wedding where her family knows your dating history apart from the groom.

Well this happened to Dr Ofweneke who recently opened up while on an interview with Andrew from Picha Clear.

Speaking on this Dr Ofweneke described his experience as awkward having had to watch his ex girlfriend exchange vows with her new man.

At the time. Ofweneke says the brides relatives who were present at the event knew of his past relationship with the said lady, however the groom had no idea about it.

According to the media personality he later learnt that the groom was the one who got him onboard, citing his love for his craft; and being a good MC, Ofweneke went ahead to bring his A game at the event.

Although the groom never got to learn the truth, Ofweneke said he had no choice but to deliver – especially since his relationship with the lady was already in the past.

Also, despite the awkward glances from the bride’s family, Ofweneke said he was happy at the end of the day to walk away with Ksh 300,000 that he was paid.

This however remains the most memorable awkward experience he has ever found himself in.

Dr Ofweneke is married to lady identified as Christine and is now raising 3 girls, one with his wife and two from a previous relationship.
