Borussia Dortmund edged out Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in a pulsating Champions League semi-final first leg. This follows a 2-2 draw between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in the other semi-final clash on Tuesday.

Jadon Sancho, on loan from Manchester United, was the star of the show for Dortmund. He terrorized the PSG defense throughout the match, earning him a well-deserved Player of the Match award.

While Kylian Mbappe created magic with a curling effort that cannoned off the post, his teammate Achraf Hakimi’s shocking miss on the rebound left fans stunned.

The deadlock was finally broken by Niclas Fullkrug’s clinical finish on a counter-attack. Despite both sides creating numerous chances, this strike proved to be the difference.

PSG head back to Paris with a 1-goal deficit with a glimmer of hope for an exciting second leg on their home turf.
