DJ Joe Mfalme continues to maintain a low profile after his release from police custody where he spent 14 days behind bars following the murder officer, Felix Kelian.

He was however released after agreeing to appear as a state witness for the case, leaving many assuming he may have thrown long term friend, Hype Ballo under the bus for his own benefit.

However speaking to Ankali Ray recently, DJ Joe Mfalme shared a little from his time spent behind bars saying there was nothing much he did.

According to Joe Mfalme all he did was think, eat and sleep.

Ilikuwa tu kufikiria, kurelax, kulala…there was nothing much to do. Joe said.

Still very close

Although DJ Joe Mfalme did not disclose much about the case, he however got to talk about his friend Ballo revealing that they remain friends.

Speaking on this, Joe brushed off rumors claiming he snitched on the hype man saying most of the stories circulating are fake.

“People don’t know the full story, and since the matter is currently in court, I prefer not to comment on it. Public opinion is inevitable, but I want to make it clear that Hype Ballo and I are still in good terms. However, due to the ongoing investigations, we are not allowed to discuss the case,” DJ Joe said.

Hype Ballo on the other hand awaits his fate as police continue to carry out investigations on what happened on the night the DCI got clobbered, ending up in hospital and in critical condition.
