Kenyan Mugithi artist Dj Fatxo has exposed Ghetto Radio for misleading the public with the information they have shared.

Dj Fatxo released a statement rebuking Ghetto Radio’s claims.

He had been invited to Ghetto Radio, but it turns out it didn’t happen as scheduled, and so Ghetto Radio told the public that they decided to cancel the show because their fans disapproved of the idea of bringing Fatxo on board considering the things that Dj Fatxo has been involved in lately that made him relocate abroad.

Below is Ghetto Radio’s statement:

Ghetto Radio cancelled an interview with Lawrence Njuguna Wagura, aka DJ Faxto, that was scheduled for the 18th from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. This is due to an online uproar from our fans, who felt it was in bad taste.

Dj Fatxo has rebuked this and said that he couldn’t make it to the show because of unavoidable traffic delays.

“The reality is that the cancellation was a result of unavoidable traffic delays that caused DJ Fatxo to be late for the scheduled interview. We therefore find the insinuation in that letter unwarranted and ill-thought. It is distasteful, misleading, and plainly unfortunate.”

The statement ended by thanking his fans and urging the media outlet not to misinform the public.

“We value our fans support and the relationships we have built with media outlets like Ghetto Radio. It’s essential to us that accurate information be conveyed to the public. It is the cardinal duty of the media to inform, not misinform.”
