Following their public separation, both Mungai Eve and Director Trevor shed light on the situation & circumstance that led to their separation.
Director Trevor Opens Up
In a recent interview on the “Iko Nini” podcast, Director Trevor explained that their decision to part ways stemmed from a natural progression in their relationship.
Trevor takes a swipe at Mungai Eve for allegedly deleting his YouTube Channel
He emphasized the absence of any dramatic events, simply acknowledging that they reached a point where continuing together wasn’t sustainable.
“We simply drifted apart,” he stated. “It happens to couples. We tried giving each other space, but ultimately, decided to amicably part ways.”
Professional Split Addressed
Trevor also clarified that their personal separation wouldn’t affect their professional partnership. He revealed that they anticipated such situations and had mentors guide them through the process.
“We were prepared for this possibility,” he said. “There are no lingering hard feelings regarding business, and we both remain on good terms.”
However, when addressing the eventual business split, Trevor revealed a different perspective. He clarified that the decision wasn’t his, and their initial agreement involved equal partnership (50/50).
“Eve felt her role as the public face of the brand entitled her to greater control,” Trevor explained. He elaborated on a disagreement regarding financial management, stating that Eve felt she controlled the income and could determine his share.
