Dem Wa Facebook Donates sanitary pads to Kibera

Kenyan Digital Creator and Content Creator Dem Wa Facebook gladly donates sanitary pads to Kibera alongside Mama Kaunti, a famous individual who is always in character serving guests at Obinna’s Live show.

Dem Wa Facebook’s charity keeps getting bigger and bigger, and her decision to help comes deeply from her heart as she believes in sharing and uplifting the less privileged

She talked to the young students, encouraging them to never give up on their dreams, as they will take them places. She went on to urge the young ladies to always dedicate most of their time to reading books and avoid having boyfriends at an early age, as that will end up costing their careers and shutting down their dreams.

“As long as kama ungali mwanafunzi avoid boyfriend, msome kwa bidii wanaume wako nje, mimi nikiwa shule nilianza maneno ya boyfriend nikiwa form one, na nikaniramba,

Ndio maana sikusoma nimekuja kwa maisha nimepatana na wanaume mpaka nasema, I wish ningekaa tuh msichana lakini time ilipita anyway, nawa encourage msomee kwa bidii na leo nimewaletea sanitary towels.” Dem Wa Facebook said.

She stressed the need for ladies to always speak up whenever they are facing health-related issues.

This is actually not the first time Dem Wa Facebook is offering help she recently donated pads to her former school as well. She has always been passionate about giving back to our community, and her generosity continues to inspire us all.

Having attended the school herself, Dem Wa Facebook vividly remembered the discomfort and embarrassment that often accompanied menstruation among students. Access to sanitary pads was not always consistent, and many girls struggled silently, missing school or feeling ashamed due to inadequate supplies, which is why she reminded them to speak up and not be afraid even if they were experiencing it for the first time.

Why Kibera

Dem Wa Facebook’s decision to visit Kibera and donate pads is because she too has suffered and understands well what the children are going through.

“Mimi niliamua nikuje Kibera nicelebrate na nyinyi peke yenu ni kwa sababu nimelelewa vile nyinyi pia mumelewa…Ukiwa na chance ya kusoma saa hii msiharibu opportunity nataka kukuja kuona wasichana wameinuka na msigive upna life nimekuja kuwa encourage.

Cha muhimu nikueka mungu mbele, kueka bidii kwa maisha na usidharau place unakaa.” Dem Wa Facebook said.
