Kenyan Cabinet secretary in charge of Roads, Transport and Public works Onesmus Kipchumba Murkomen is on the spotlight for saying that he is going to deal with the owner of a Mercedes-Benz that was going against the rules and regulations of the road.
Speaking through his Twitter account, Kipchumba tagged the owner of the Mercedes E 250 saying that the necessary action shall be taken.
In the video, there are two individuals spotted hanging or rather sitting on the windows of the Mercedes-Benz as it is in motion, an action that has been condemned by the public including the Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen.
“Mr. James Gathogo Njeri this is how your car white Mercedes-Benz KCX 959B class E-250 was being driven on Mombasa road in one of those “where is the Minister” moments. We are concerned and a responsible citizen has alerted us. We shall do what we must.” Kipchumba Murkomen’s statement on (X) Twitter account read:
This has however been taken differently by the public, whom feel like the CS is practicing favoritism or rather Partiality by wanting to take action on the Benz owner after looking aside on what Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu pulled off the other day when she drove past traffic using the wrong direction just to beat time and be in Parliament.
Karen Nyamu Sets Bad Example leaving Netizens Questioning Her leadership Qualities
Many netizens from twitter including fellow government officials have shared their opinion over the same saying that he should first handle Karen Nyamu before getting to the Mercedes-Benz owner or pardon them both.
Reactions From the Public
Below are some of the reactions from the public at (X):

@Kipmurkomen.Kenya has only one constitution,Either you’re punishing Karen Nyamu too, or youre pardoning both of them.
Maliks:
When Karen Nyamu broke traffic rules,You never tweeted, when govt officials break traffic rules every day on the wrong side you never tweet, now ordinary guy does this, you are awake and ready to act.
Karis:
Deal with Karen Nyamu First!
Dr. Dennis Adison Ouma:
Now there is a problem with your tweet here, Mr.Murkomen .
-This indisciplined young lady called Karen Nyamu ,also a nominated Senator instructed her driver to flout traffic rules here in Nairobi,to the detriment of other road users, then posted it on social media .
-Kenyans tweeted about it,I tweeted about it but you never cared ,tweeted. Why?
-Now after arresting this guy.Karen Nyamu and her careless driver must be arrested too, charged, driving license be revoked, indefinitely.
-The law should apply to all kenyans,Politician or not
Mirage Kitchenware:
Responsibility should start with us citizens btw sio kila Saa blaming the government. The government is not everywhere except when collecting tax, campaigning and distribution of voting materials
Hon Speaker KOX:
I hope uliona ile ya Karen Nyamu pia
Ohh sorry kumbe huyo ni mweshimiwa and the same law does not apply to everyone
