The Cabinet Secretary Of Education Ezekiel Machogu has refused to listen to claims that Kisii county had some form of leakage.
After announcing the 2022 KCSE Results on Friday, the Education minister recorded that 1,146 candidates scored A plain compared with the figures that they had the previous year, which were slightly higher than last years.
Although there has been drama online from people claiming that Kisii recorded high number of students going to campus with good grades unlike some other schools in other counties saying partiality prevailed.
Nyambaria school has been the one school that everyone has been talking about online, of course others included, but this one has made people question its ability to have almost all students making it to campus.
Nyambaria had 28 A plains and 383 students getting a mean grade of A- Minus while 66 other candidates had B+ leaving one with a B plain which then generated a mean of 10.89
Nyambaria has been trending online until the Minister decided to speak out and defend the school that there were no any exam irregularities as they claim and exams were done fairly and no partialism was done even in grading.
The Minister instead took the moment to congratulate the Principal of Nyambaria School and urged people to pull up their socks instead of spreading fake unjustified Information,
“If you look at his history, you will appreciate him because wherever he goes, there is a remarkable improvement. Propaganda will not help us.”
He said that Kisii County was being unfairly singled out, saying that there were also some other counties that scored well beating it.
