Country Queen celebrity Melvin Alusa has quit acting on the show due to the working conditions he is under.
Taking it to his social media page, he has resigned from working in that show as he doesn’t like the way the management handles the crew and cast.
“I unfortunately Couldn’t bear the toxic environment anymore. The bad leadership, emotional blackmail, gas lightning, manipulation and health hazards, led to an environment that became impossible for me to perform my role as an actor and to deliver powerful moments to the role and story as a whole.
It’s at this point that I felt the need to leave with my dignity intact and my head held high.”
He also said that he speaks for the rest of the other members who didn’t have the guts to step up and speak to be served fairly.
“I am now requesting the SALEM Production team to manage the welfare of their actors and crew, many of whom are suffering in silence.”
Concluded with thanking his fans and the crew that worked alongside him, helping him unleash his potential. Adding that for him his time is up and wishes the casts and the company all the best.
“I now say goodbye to you, and thank you so much for all the love and support you showed me while I was on the show as Meichizedek Karani. I wish you a lively journey even as you proceed with my replacement, the gifted and capable Charles Ouda will proceed from here.”
He has also promised to let the fans updated on his next move in his career.
Saleem is a story about inequality about the poor and the rich, a scenario where the poor are trying hard to make ends meet while the rich are thriving in their success and even using it to their advantage, it airs on Maisha Magic station.
