Kenyan comedian YY has disclosed the strategy that women use to get to the fathers of their children even after they have agreed to part ways.
Speaking during a Youtube show with his wife, Marya Okoth. He said that many women tend to take advantage of men who have already ended a relationship and use children as bait to get to them, even after they have provided for and catered for the needs of the child.
The father of one goes on saying that some women are so sentimental and selfish to the point of prioritizing their needs ahead of everything else and using the child as bait to drain the man who is the father of the child.
“When it is the other way, mwanaume anaeza left, but wakiwa na mtoto, the child, is used against the man. Out of the deadbeat dad cases, only 2% are right.
The rest of the cases, 98%, are women trying to express their selfish interests. If you are not going to be with me, I am not going to be with the child.” YY clarified.
Pointing out that it is always a problem when men move on and the other way around when women do because they are attacked day and night. “The day una move on, it is trouble. I know of people who are going through this.
Adding that the public is very judgmental when it comes to men without even knowing what the problem is, each time a man fails to do the good thing that they used to initially do, for instance, providing, they are called out as bad people who aren’t responsible and able to own their duties.
He concluded by urging ladies to be mindful and reasonable and not harass their baby daddies, especially when they decide to move on, as they do a hard job trying to make ends meet for both themselves and the kid, and the last thing they want is drama.
