Kenyan artist Colonel Mustapha has clarified on the 1.5 million that he was pleading from the public.
Speaking during an interview with Mungai eve, he said that some things just happened abruptly without him expecting that they will happen, saying that there’s a certain amount of money they were waiting that hasn’t arrived yet hence reason.
“So watu hawaku understand…Kuna pesa bado tunangoja hatuja handiwa bado kwa mkono so ndo tulikua tunangoja na kwa hiyo tunashukuru watu kwa kutuchangia.”
He said that he reached out to the public once again, pleading for help because the main money that they were supposed to be handed hasn’t been given to them yet and because they can’t halt the treatment on her mother he thought of asking the public for anyone who wants to step in and help meanwhile as he awaits the main money to be handed to them.
“Imekua one month saa huu tukingoja…but kufikia mpaka saa hii hatujapatiwa the main money yenye ingemaliza hizi issues zote.
That’s why nilisema kama kuna mtu anaeza kua na msaada still anaeza tusaidia.”
He went on narrating that the person whose supposed to sort them their phone is not going through, and they are patiently waiting for it.
He clarified claims from the public and assured them that he has been using the money that they contributed for him well and sparingly thanking them.
Concluded with saying that he is sorry if the public may have misinterpreted it, as he was just doing what he feels was necessarily and to plead from the public was just to those who are willing to step in.
