Citizen TV journalist Stephen Letoo has raised concerns over the safety of his family after an attack on his rural home in Enooretet. In a post shared on social media, Letoo revealed that unknown individuals targeted his property in the early hours of the morning, throwing stones into his compound and onto the roofs of his house. This incident has raised alarm, with the journalist now calling for immediate action to address the growing threats.
Letoo disclosed that the attack occurred at around 2 a.m. and expressed serious concerns for his safety and that of his family. “I take this as a serious threat to my family and an attempted murder on me and/or some of my family members,” he stated.
This is not the first time his home has been attacked. Letoo noted that previous incidents have occurred, indicating a pattern of harassment that has escalated in recent weeks. He believes that these continuous attacks are part of a broader scheme to intimidate him and his family, both personally and professionally.
“Last night, a group of unknown people attacked my rural home in Enooretet at around 2 a.m. They hurled stones at my compound and threw other stones on top of houses,” he explained.
Letoo issued a stern warning to those responsible, demanding that the attacks stop before he takes further action. “Individuals sending people to attack my home, please stop for the last time before I name and shame you,” he warned.
The journalist also called on authorities to step up security in the area, particularly the General Service Unit (GSU) camp near his home. “I am calling on the newly established GSU camp to wake up and protect my life, that of my family, and my neighbours,” Letoo urged.

Letoo vowed to take strong measures to protect his family from any future attacks. He concluded, “Any further night or day activities by unknown persons around my home or farm will be met by the full force of resistance and defence of life.”
