Speaking to the press, the classic 105 radio presenter said that he decided to listen to the people’s plea which is that they wanted the show come back on air as it used to initially.
“We are excited we are back where it all began many many years ago.
There’s really something about the show, every time it is on Tv it brings a kind of joy in the family….Ni watu wameitisha kipindi irejee…..Watu wame request, emailing NTV calling us….then we gave in and decided we will work together with NTV and air it.” Churchill explained.
Churchill recognized the challenges that the country is currently undergoing adding that in as much the show might not entirely be the solution to the problems the country is facing it might help out in creating a little distraction that is needed during this tough times.
“I think we are going through a very interesting season as a country and there is a need to release that stress. There may not be much to celebrate but there’s something about the show…” Churchill said.
