Chipukeezy show on KBC has taken a short break following pending payments as revealed by a document shared by Vincent Mwasia popularly known as Chipukeezy.
The statement written released by Ufalme Entertainment director Michael Muthama confirmed to have not been paid since November, making it hard for the production team.
Chipukeezy Speaks after landing a New Job at KBC
“Dear valued partners, suppliers, artists and fans. We hope this message finds you well. We at Ufalme Entertainment would like to address a matter that has been of concern to many of you. It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you of the ongoing delay in payments from our media partner, KBC.” Read part of the statement.
On the post, Micheal Muthama made it known that the Chipukeezy show management had tried to seek help from the government but nothing changed.
“Since November, we have encountered significant delays in receiving payments from KBC, despite our best efforts to uphold our commitments to all stakeholders involved in the production of The Chipukeezy Show,” He wrote.
Kartelo quits
The new development on Chipukeezy show comes barely a month after Kartelo announced exit from the show.
This not being the first time Kartelo is pulling such a stunt, we believe he may have left due to delayed payment from the show’s management.
However since he remains silent on the matter, we cannot confirm his main reason for the untimely exit.
