Actress Celestine Gachui popularly known for her role on Selena Tv show has been on the forefront fighting against gender based violence.
Speaking on this, the actress revealed her main aim is to reach out to victims who have suffered GVB whether physical or mental.
According to her many Kenyans suffer in silence to avoid being judged or mocked by others who don’t understand the impact of GVB.

Although she has no experience with gender based violence, the lass insists on stepping in to help both men and women – as this is her calling.
The past few weeks have been a real emotional ride for our country. Sadly, gender-based violence is a serious issue, affecting both men and women, from domestic abuse to femicide. That’s why @Phil_Kimemia and I are starting an initiative called #Simama. Celestine wrote on her page.
So far Celestine says she has helped a few Kenyans through her social media pages where she continues to advocate for gender based violence prevention.
We want to use our voices and influence to fight against all forms of gender-based violence.
