Rapper Cashy Karimi has won the custody of her son, Xolani against Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones.
The excited mother of one took to her Instagram to announce the victory saying that Khaligraph had tried to take the baby away for a whole year, “God has proven him worth it and humbled the big men in court.”
The mother of one also claimed she had gone through alot in the process, “They dismissed, discouraged, threatened, insulted and labelled me… did the most to humiliate me and intimidate me, but who is GOD?,” Adding that it really cost her, “It cost me work opportunities, music, friendships and relationships, time, weight and nearly my sanity because I believed from the start my boy deserves love and care.”
In August this year, Cashy accused Khaligraph Jones of making Xolani stay out of school for a term and a half after saying he was going to take him to a better school. According to Cashy, Khaligraph said he would move the child to a good school in Nairobi and then ghosted them, “What’s the point of a person asking for a child to travel to Nairobi to attend a better school, then going silent on the child’s arrival?” adding that he left them stranded for almost two months. Just months after she claimed she was receiving arrest threats from him, ”What is the point of delaying a legal case intentionally and threatening the mother with arrest?”
