American artist Cardi B announced on Thursday that she was expecting her third child, sharing a pair of photos on Instagram that showcased her baby bump.
Her announcement was accompanied by a heartfelt message expressing her gratitude and excitement for this new chapter in her life.
Cardi B reflected on the profound impact this pregnancy has had on her. “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you,” she wrote, acknowledging the transformative power of this journey.
The artist went on to highlight the lessons she had learned throughout this pregnancy. As she conveyed how it reminded her that she could have it all—life, love, and passion.
“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and cannot wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do.” Cardi wrote.
She also touched upon the challenges she faced and how her children motivated her to persevere. “It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns, and tests laying down, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through.”

Pregnancy news follows divorce filing.
The announcement came the same day that Cardi B reportedly filed for divorce from Migos rapper Offset, with whom she shares two children—six-year-old daughter Kulture and two-year-old son Wave.
While she did not directly address whether she and Offset have separated in her post, she did allude to changes in her life, writing, “With every ending comes a new beginning.”
In December 2023, Cardi B shared a cryptic message on her page after unfollowing Offset. She expressed that she was tired of protecting others’ peace and, therefore, decided it was time to take care of herself.
“I am tired of protecting people’s feelings. I Gotta put myself first!” Part of Cardi’s statement read:
She also went ahead in her next slide, saying she has reached a stage whereby she has outgrown relationships.
“You know when you just outgrow relationships,” Cardi B’s statement read.
