Bishop Benny Hinn Apologizes for allowing false prophecies in his ministry

Us Based Bishop Benny Hinn has apologized for allowing false prophecies in his ministry.

He revealed his two biggest regrets for having committed them in life, which are ruining his reputation and misleading people.

I am a human being. I’ve made mistakes. We all make mistakes, and two things I regret most are that I was not too wise with prophecy.”

Bishop Benny Hinn goes on recalling an incident when he shared a prophecy he thought could’ve been true only to find out that he had misinterpreted the whole thing, asking the public for forgiveness

Benny Hinn’s Apology

He recently found himself at the center of controversy after sharing a prophetic statement that later proved to be unfounded. This prompted a wave of criticism and disappointment from his followers.

There were times when I thought God had shown me something, but he hadn’t, and I spoke it out, and I wish I could go back and fix it, sadly. There were some prophecies I gave out that were not accurate; those things went outside of redemption. Anything that’s out of redemption is not a prophecy.

And for that, I ask people to forgive me because I am just human, and I’ll probably make the same mistakes again down the road. Who knows, because I am not perfect. As long as we are in this imperfect body, we are not going to make perfect decisions, and it is also sad when
people focus on times when you miss it but not when you are doing well.” Benny Hinn said.

In Conclusion

This incident underscores the importance of critical thinking and fact-checking, particularly for public figures with large followings.

Despite the backlash, Benny Hinn’s humility and accountability in owning and accepting to address the situation may help him regain the trust of his audience. Advising the public to thread carefully and that prophecy should be from within redemption and not the other way around.
