Bien & Savara Share The Reason Why They Chose To Charge 20K per Ticket on Their Upcoming Sol Festival Show

Published on

Kenyan music band SautiSol artists Bien and Savara share the reason as to why they chose to charge 20,000 per ticket for their upcoming Sol festival show.

Speaking at the Kenya National Theatre, where they were making earlier preparations for their upcoming show, the team said that they decided to raise the ticket price because they want to put on a show like no other, as they will be performing for three and a half hours. This comes after Sauti Sol had a show the last time, and they performed for a few minutes and left an act that left many residents talking about and raising different opinions on the same. Sauti Sol, however, promised that as of this time they will do something different as it will be a long one filled with entertainment and good vibes.

The reason that made them raise the stakes is that they may be able to also pay the team that they will be hiring to support them, as well as get the full experience of Sauti Sol.

“The cost of everything in that festival also imeenda juu, mafuta ikipanda juu, wages zetu za wasee wenye wanahiriwa pia zinaenda juu kuna transport company hapo. Kuna so many elements, zenye zinafactor in hiyo ticket prize.

Poleeni jooh tungependa tuh muaunderstand hatujaribu kutake advantage ya watu lakini pia tunawapatia 20 years of our life. Bien Remarked

Bien

Bien advised their fans to not consider the amount they will be paying but rather the experience that they will be in, which is a total of 20 years of their work together as a band, as they promised to perform three of their best albums as well as a new one that they will be releasing before the show.

Savara

Savara also added that the Sol Festival is another opportunity for people to have a little escapism from the tough economy to go and experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as they should.

They lastly urged their fans to buy tickets as early as possible before they sell out.

On November 4th, the Sauti Sol band, which consists of Bien Aime, Savara, Chimano, and Fancy Fingers, will perform their final concert together. The band had said that this is not only the end of an era but also the start of a legacy that will live on in the hearts of their fans forever, as they plan on returning to their own individual projects.

Sauti Sol Band

The entrance fee for their die-hard fans is Ksh 2,500, while behind-the-scenes access to the same event will have you paying Ksh 6,500.

The VIP show will take place two days before the fans show, on November 2nd, 2023, and will cost Ksh 20,000.

The Ksh 20,000 package includes a 5-star banquet-style dinner, complimentary welcome drinks, an intimate performance by Sauti Sol, an exclusive Sauti Sol merchandise pack, and a Sauti Sol meet and greet.
